NEW SERVICE OFFERS STATEWIDE CASE SEARCH THROUGH E-FILING PORTAL
Florida attorneys, legal professionals, and public researchers can now search case information from all 67 Florida counties through a new subscription service launched by the Florida Courts E-Filing Authority and Florida Court Clerks & Comptrollers.
Powered by Comprehensive Case Information System (CCIS), CaseAccess brings Clerk-sourced case information together in one secure, streamlined search platform. The service is designed to make statewide case research more efficient for professionals who regularly work across multiple jurisdictions.
“CaseAccess extends the practical value of Florida’s statewide court infrastructure by giving attorneys and researchers a more convenient way to conduct statewide case research,” said Tara S. Green, E-Filing Authority board chair and Clay County Clerk. “It reduces the time spent navigating separate systems while maintaining the Clerks’ role as the source of the official court record.”
With CaseAccess, the E-Filing Authority says subscribers can conduct broader statewide searches without having to navigate individual county websites and separate search tools. The platform provides:
• A consistent statewide search experience across Florida’s 67 counties
• Daily updates to case information
• Secure technology designed for professional research needs
• Convenient access through the E-Filing Portal
CaseAccess subscriptions are available for $20 per month or $200 per year. To subscribe, visit the Florida Courts E-Filing Authority homepage and select the "Enter the Portal" button. Sign in with an active E-Filing Portal account, then select CaseAccess Subscription from the command ribbon to manage subscription settings. If a user does not already have an account, one must be created before subscribing.
Subscription fees support the technology, processing, security, daily updates, maintenance and customer service necessary to operate and sustain the statewide research platform. Subscription fees are for the enhanced search experience and related services. Users are not purchasing or acquiring ownership of public court information, according to the E-Filing Authority.
Public case information remains available through existing public-access channels provided by individual Clerks.
"CaseAccess provides a sustainable option for frequent professional users while supporting the technology and operations required to deliver a secure, dependable statewide research platform," the E-Filing Authority said in a statement. "The service reflects the ongoing collaboration between Florida’s Clerks of the Circuit Court and Comptrollers and the Florida Courts E-Filing Authority to enhance access to court information and modernize the user experience."
CaseAccess is a research tool and is not the official court record. Users should consult the appropriate Clerk for the official and most current record, document, or case status.
