Gaza Genocide: Israeli Atrocities Kill Over 61,700 Palestinians
In the past 24 hours alone, 123 bodies were brought to hospitals, while 437 people sustained injuries—pushing the total number of wounded to 154,525 since the conflict began, the ministry said.
“Many victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads as ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them,” the statement added.
The ministry also highlighted that 21 Palestinians were killed and 185 injured by Israeli strikes while attempting to receive humanitarian aid over the last day. This raises the death toll among aid-seekers to 1,859, with over 13,594 injured since May 27.
In addition, eight people, including three children, died in the past 24 hours due to famine and malnutrition, increasing the starvation death toll to 235—among them 106 children—as the humanitarian crisis in Gaza worsens.
The Israeli military resumed attacks on Gaza on March 18, killing 10,201 people and injuring 42,484 since, effectively ending a ceasefire and prisoner exchange deal reached in January.
In November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, charging them with war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel is also facing a genocide lawsuit at the International Court of Justice over its ongoing war on the enclave.
