Iran’s Foreign Minister Visits Moscow, Holds Talks with Putin
Scheduled for Monday, Araghchi’s meetings with Putin and top Russian officials will focus on regional security and global issues amid heightened tensions following the attacks.
On Saturday in Istanbul, the Iranian diplomat announced his Moscow trip, emphasizing it as part of the countries’ “strategic partnership.”
In the early hours of Sunday, US President Donald Trump confirmed that American forces had launched attacks on three Iranian nuclear locations: Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan.
The operation included six bunker-buster bombs deployed by B-2 stealth bombers against the Fordo site, combined with numerous submarine-launched cruise missile strikes targeting the Natanz and Isfahan facilities.
These assaults mark a further intensification of a US-supported Israeli military campaign against Iran, which has been ongoing since June 13. This surge of aggression has triggered Iranian retaliatory missile attacks on Israel.
Israeli officials report at least 25 fatalities and several hundred injuries resulting from these Iranian strikes.
Conversely, Iran’s Health Ministry states that the Israeli offensive has caused 430 deaths and left over 3,500 individuals wounded within Iran.
