Iran Moves Nuclear Materials Before US Attacks

(MENAFN) Iran’s official state television’s political deputy stated that the country had relocated materials from three atomic sites shortly before they came under attack by American forces, as reported by a news agency on Sunday.

According to the news agency, “Part of the Fordo nuclear site area was subjected to an aerial attack by enemy forces,” citing a statement from the governor’s office of Qom province.

This suggests that the Fordo facility was specifically targeted during the offensive.

Additionally, the deputy governor for security and law enforcement in Isfahan confirmed that assaults took place in the vicinity of the nuclear complexes in both Isfahan and Natanz, as further noted by the news agency.

Following the bombardment, the Israeli armed forces declared a state of elevated alert, ordering the closure of schools, prohibition of public gatherings, and the suspension of non-critical labor activities.

US President Donald Trump revealed that the American military had collaborated with Israel in carrying out the coordinated assaults against Iran.

“We have completed our very successful attack on the three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan,” Trump stated on Truth Social.
